Woodbridge Timothy F. Laura Se lwseeley@aol.com Atty. Timothy F. Woodbridge, 80, of Granby, CT, died Sunday, June 9, 2019. He was born on Dec. 3, 1938, to Donald B. and Nora W. Woodbridge in New York City, and was raised in Oak Ridge, TN. Timothy graduated from Sewanee Military Academy in 1956, Amherst College in 1960, and Yale Law School in 1963. He married his first wife, Kristin Olesen, in 1961. They had two children and divorced in 1974. He and his second wife, Micaela M.C. Woodbridge (nee Nechkin), married in 1982. She predeceased him in 2003. Timothy practiced trial and appellate law, mainly in the Hartford area, for more than 35 years before retiring from Cigna in 1998. He was an enthusiastic amateur music historian and had a radio show at the University of Hartford in the 1970s, where he played obscure traditional music tracks and related relevant historical facts. He was also a self-taught musician and played traditional and bluegrass style music on the fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and banjo, attending numerous traditional music festivals and competitions throughout New England over the years. Timothy is survived by daughter Laura, son James, stepson Sean, stepdaughter Siobhan, two grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and sister Jennifer. He will also be missed by his fellow musicians at the weekly jam. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
