Nicholas F. Picciano Former resident of Roselle Park Nicholas F. Picciano, 81, of Spring, Texas, formerly of Roselle Park, N.J., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. Funeral is from the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park, on Friday, June 14, 2019, at 8:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth, N.J. Visitation is Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. For online condolences to the family, please visit mastapeterfuneralhome.com Born in Manfredonia, Italy, Nicholas came to the United States in 1957, settling to Newark, N.J., then Roselle Park for 51 years, before moving to Spring, Texas, 11 years ago. He was a manager for Automat for many years, retiring in 2018. Nicholas was predeceased by his beloved wife, Caroline (nee Guercio) Picciano. Surviving are five loving children, Donald, Nicholas and his wife Roberta, David and his wife Kimberly, Diana Schwaigert and her husband Eric, and Sandra Venturella and her husband Joe; a dear sister, Jackie Alfano and her husband Nicholas; 13 adored grandchildren, Denise, Deirdre, Deanna, Angela, Joseph, Donald, Andrew, Eric, Nicholas, Kayla, Anthony, Rena, and Colton, and a great-grandson, Raymond.
