Larry Wayne Coomer Evansville - Larry Wayne Coomer, 77, passed away Saturday June 8th 2019 surrounded by his beloved family. He was born January 8, 1942 to the late James C. and Audrey Coomer. Larry loved spending time with his kids and grandkids, playing cards, watching football and baseball. Larry was survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Catherine and his children Eric (Vicki) Coomer, Tina (Terry) Walker, Matt (Sharon) Coomer, William (Karrie) Coomer, Jason (Diona) Coomer, Renee (Larry) Small, Terrance Coomer, Marcus Coomer, Justin Coomer and Kainen Coomer, his siblings Jim Coomer, Nancy Huff, Bill Coomer, Steve Coomer, Rick Coomer. Larry had 22 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, was a father figure to the 100's of foster children over the years. He was preceded in death by both parents and infant brother Keith Alan Coomer. He served our great country in the US Navy before working at Sterling Brewery, The Mundy Co., and MSD of Mt Vernon. Please join us for a celebration of life at Bishea Shelter House at Burdette Park on Wednesday June 12th 2019 from 3:00pm - 7:00pm.
