Marion Falcone
Marion Falcone, 93 Family meant everything to her Native Staten Islander Marion Falcone (nee Ariemma), 93, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Staten Island University Hospital North. Born and raised in South Beach, Mrs. Falcone graduated from New Dorp High School and began working as a seamstress. She worked for several dress shops in Manhattan and, after she married, for several local dress shops on the Island. Mrs. Falcone married her childhood sweetheart, Mr. John Falcone. The couple met as children in their South Beach neighborhood and were happily married for over 72 years. The couple enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and cruises to The Bahamas, Bermuda, and Hawaii. Mrs. Falcone was a talented chef whose Italian specialties, especially her epic Sunday sauce, delighted her friends and family. Mrs. Falcone believed that the secret to a peaceful and fulfilled life was simply " Home and Love." "Mom was a simple woman who truly loved being at home with her family," said her children. "She was an angel and a saint sent from God. Her love and kindness were an inspiration for generations." Mrs. Falcone was a longtime parishioner of Holy Rosary Church in South Beach. She also had a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother. Mrs. Marion Falcone was the beloved wife of Mr. John Falcone, and loving mother of John Falcone, Theresa Cozzolino, MaryAnn Marchi, and Kathleen Capriotti. She was the cherished grandmother of Michael, John, Jessica, Bliss, SallyAnn, Maria, Luigi and Anthony, and dearest great-grandmother of Logan, Evelyn, Lucas, Augie, and Dorothy. She was predeceased by her dear brothers, Frank, Sydney and Mario Ariemma. A.
