Jacqueta "Jackie" Desene Harding March 21, 1927 - May 15, 2019 MIDWEST CITY Jacqueta "Jackie" Desene Harding, of Midwest City, died May 15, 2019, in the care of Hospice Quality Care. Born March 21, 1927, to Ewell & Mary Jane Carnes, of Coffeyville, KS, Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Nolan and Alan Carnes. Jackie is survived by her husband of 72 years, Raymond Harding; four children, Terry Harding and wife Kim, Rickki Redmond and husband John, Tammy Allen and husband Steve, and Randy Harding and wife Karissa; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She had been a member of Wickline United Methodist Church for 69 years and worked serving communion for 50 years. While her children were in school, she was active volunteering for PTA, library, running band concession stands and subbing when needed. She received her associate's degree from Coffeyville Jr. College and worked at Sears in Midwest City for 10 years. She loved sewing, quilting, reading her books, water aerobics and walking every morning. She had many friends, but her neighbor of 69 years was someone she visited with daily. Viewing will be Sunday, 12-8 p.m., and Monday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m., at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home. Services to remember Jackie will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at Wickline United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made Wickline - Church Scholarships.
