Janet A. Romese Woodring, 83, of Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg, Pa. died May 12, 2019, at Holy Spirit Hospital. Born December 22, 1935, in Ginter, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Frederick R. and Anna D. (Japling) Romese. She was the wife of the late Kenneth R. Woodring who died May 13, 2011. Also, she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, and nieces and nephews. Janet retired as an administrative services supervisor for Verizon with 34 years of service, was a member of the Camp Hill Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon, member of the DAR, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and telephone pioneers. Surviving are two step-sons, Kenneth G. Woodring and his wife, Grace; Scott E. Woodring and his wife, Betty Jo; step-daughter, Sally J. Rogers and her husband, Steve; 5 step-grandsons; 2 step-granddaughters; 3 step great-grandsons; and 1 step great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews. The family will hold a private graveside service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mechanicsburg. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Inc. www.pennlive.com/obits
