Antoinette C. "Toni" (Ialenti) Wright
Antoinette C. 'Toni' Wright Loving mother and grandmother Antoinette C. "Toni" Wright (Ialenti), born in Newark, N.J., on April 29, 1931, passed peacefully into eternal rest at the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains, N.J., on May 14, 2019, after a brief illness. Toni was the treasurer of the Cranford V.I.A., member of the Cranford Senior Citizen Advisory Committee for the Public School District and a parishioner of St. Michael Catholic Church in Cranford for 61 years. During her free time she was a lifelong bridge player, a voracious reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles and train travel, watching Jeopardy, baking and getting agita every time the Giants played. After passing, she joined her husband of 59 years, William Wright, and daughter, Anita Jean (AJ) Wright, in Heaven. She is survived by her loving family, daughter Laura (Bose) Wright; favorite grandchild, Christian Kelly; son-in-law, Michael Kelly, and many beloved nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She has donated her body to Robert Wood Johnson Medical School because of her previous employment as a medical secretary and her respect for the medical field. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 15, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Church.
