Mary Ann Murphy SHORTSVILLE - Mary Ann Murphy, age 68, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, May 10, 2019, at M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Frederick Murphy; their children, Cristine (Donny), William (Jennifer) and Matthew (Jamie); and their grandchildren, Nealcha, Durinda, Ashlee, Ryan, Grace and Alexis. She is also survived by her sisters, Judy (Bill) Jones and Jean (Jim) Corino; brothers, Myron (Amy), Terry (Cindy), William (Dee) and Ken; sister-in-law, Sandra Worboys; brothers-in-law, Edward Murphy and Sheldon Coon; along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Frederick Worboys Jr. Mary Ann was born on Jan. 9, 1951, in Brockport, N.Y. and was the daughter of the late Frederick and Beverly (DeBrine) Worboys. She worked at the University of Rochester for many years. Mary Ann was a caring wife, mother and grandmother who was known for always putting everyone else first. She will be missed greatly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Friends may call on Thursday, May 16, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home Inc., 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua. A 1 p.m. funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ontario-Yates Hospice and directed to the House of John in Clifton Springs.
