Paul Richard Blomquist
Paul Richard Blomquist Jan. 19, 1934 - April 30, 2019 Paul Richard Blomquist was born Jan. 19, 1934 in Richfield, Utah. He was the fifth of six wonderfully close siblings. He died peacefully with family by his side in Portland. He was a devoted, loving and fun father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his children, Jeff Blomquist, Troy Blomquist, and Lisa Blomquist Hart. Paul graduated from the University of Utah, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and worked over 25 years for Travelers Insurance. He enjoyed an active lifestyle, working out, sports and anything outdoors - especially the Oregon coast. His greatest joy was spending time with and supporting his family. He loved any adventure and traveling, especially with his siblings. He was quick to laugh, outgoing and a friend to all. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 8, 2019, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 14885 N.W. West Union Rd., Portland, OR 97229.
