In youth, Bobby Joe enjoyed playing football, fishing, shrimping and hunting. He worked in a machine and later wood product shop with his family and graduated from Moss Point in 1956. Bobby Joe became an American Welding Society-certified inspector, worked in Montana, Oregon and Louisiana, retired from Ingalls. He enjoyed family, friends, art, movies and Facebook.
