Eunice Mae Anderson
Eunice Mae Anderson, 93 of Pascagoula, passed from this life on Friday, April 26, 2019 in Moss Point, Mississippi. She was born April 9, 1926 in Ward, Alabama. Mrs. Anderson was married to the love of her life, Edward Manion Anderson for 59 years. She worked post World War II as a Tacker, Welder & Checker at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula and also worked as a Cashier at Corlews Town Market. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pascagoula for over 50 years, enjoyed singing and playing piano, gardening, yard sales, family reunions and "ridin' the beach", but most of all she loved her family, her grandchildren and she loved and served the Lord. Her favorite saying was "She remained on this earth for her two boys." Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert Lee and Lela Pearl Wilkerson Jowers; husband, Edward Manion Anderson; sisters, Willie Pearl Seals, Grace Pickard, Virginia Barnes, Mildred Odom and Mary and Martha Jowers. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Glen and Kaye Anderson and Paul and Trish Anderson; sister, Clarice Pearson; and two brothers, Bill Jowers and Danny Curtis; grandchildren, Angela & Brian Bronis, Jason & Jennifer Anderson, Manion & Sarah Anderson and Marcus Anderson; great-grandchildren, Elisa, Amanda, Mary Page, Emelia, Kaitlyn, Leighton, Jacelyn Mae, Brayson, Alex, Abigail, Jack, Lillian Mae and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 9:00 until 10:00am at First Baptist Church of Pascagoula. Funeral services will follow at 10:00am from First Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Jowers and Rev. Don Boone officiating. Interment will follow at 4:00pm at Cokes Chapel Cemetery in Ward, Alabama. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Anderson, Brian Bronis, Manion Anderson, David Jowers, Stephen Jowers and Neal Jowers.
