Peggy Ann Rausch Evansville, Ind. Peggy Ann Rausch, 72, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at the Heritage Center. Peggy was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 13, 1946, to the late Clarence C. and Dewey Rausch. She was a 1964 graduate of Central High School and attended Lockyear Business College, Ivy Tech and Evansville College. She was an auditor inspector for Whirlpool while also facilitating many meetings of working course until retirement after 40 years, in 2008. She belonged to the Whirlpool Bowling League for over 10 years and Whirlpool's Baseball League. Peggy attended St. James West and Bethany Christian Church, where she was a member of their Christian League. She was a member of the Daughters of VFW, Owls, Eagles, the Eastern Star and was a past rainbow girl. Peggy enjoyed making flower arrangements, giving to causes, playing with her cat, Snowball and going on vacations with her companion, Leroy Brammer for many years. She was a selfless mother and even wrote her own obituary so her family wouldn't be burdened. Peggy enjoyed being a grandmother and had many friends who cared deeply for her. She will be missed by all that knew her. Peggy is survived by her daughters, Stacey Whitledge (Mikey), Bobbie Choate, Krystal Choate; grandchildren, Michael Webb, Ethan Edward Kahre, Cody Dean Brown, Christain Whitledge, Dalton Shanks and Daniel Whitledge (Tabitha); seven great-grandchildren, Maria, Bradley, Jeremiah, Tristen, Jayden, Sophie and Hallie; and Leroy Brammer, her friend, companion, and caregiver for many years. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon Renee Choate; and her children's father, Bobby G. Choate. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Gene Backes officiating. Burial will follow at Tupman Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at Browning Funeral Home.
