Emily Ann Boulay
Emily Ann Boulay, 74, of Agawam, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Heritage Hall East after struggling courageously with Lewy Body Dementia with Parkinson’s Syndrome for the past 3 years. Born in Ludlow, MA on October 6, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Tokarz) Boulay and grew up in Springfield, graduating from Cathedral High School. Emily worked for Valley Bank for many years before retiring. The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Woods, the Birches Memory Ward and Heritage Hall East Memory Ward as well as Baystate Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of Emily. Thank you also to Anne-Marie Ferraro and Susan Poirie for their devoted care of Emily during her illness. She leaves her loving sister, Irene Boulay of East Longmeadow; her sister-in-law, Carole Boulay Bombard Cobb of Enfield, CT; and her 3 nephews, Joseph Boulay Bombard of CT, Todd Boulay Bombard of Singapore, Richard Boulay Bombard of NH, and their families. She was predeceased by her 2 brothers, Richard Joseph Boulay and Arthur Peter Boulay. Graveside services will be held privately for the family. Memorial donations may be made to Baystate Hospice, 50 Maple St., Springfield, MA 01102.
