Delpha Mae Steelman
Delpha Mae Steelman, of Pace, FL, formerly of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019. She was born August 30, 1932, in Poughkeepsie, AR. Mrs. Steelman is well known for her devotion to mentoring many women and young couples. She was known as a "Woman of Prayer" and was a "Proverbs 31 Woman". Delpha was a part of Victory Temple Assembly of God and Cedar Lake Assembly of God in Biloxi, MS; First Assembly of God Church, Pensacola, FL. She was a founding member of the Gulf Coast chapter of Women's Aglow; active member of Full Gospel Business Mens Association. Delpha is preceded in death by her father, Jasper Delphus Hutchison; mother, Mabel McGee Hutchison; sister, Patty Hutchison Phillips and brother, Charles Hutchison. Delpha is survived by her husband, Lawrence E. Steelman; daughter, Margaret S. Ludlow; son-in-law, Larry N. Ludlow; son, Lawrence Edward Steelman; daughter-in-law, Beverly M. Steelman; grandchildren, Lisa L. Archer (Bobby), Emily L. Lieser (Scott), Jeffrey A. Ludlow, Daniel P. Ludlow (Taylor), Bethany S. Rampage (Jacob), Lawrence E. "Trey" Steelman, William A. Steelman; great grandchildren, Justin Trae Archer, Caroline Archer, Emma Grace Lieser, Peyton Archer and Harrison Lieser; sister-in-law, Roberta Hutchison and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, March 18, 2019, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, from 1:30 PM until the Funeral Service starts at 2:00 PM. Pastor David Scruggs will be officiating. Interment will be at Elizabeth Chapel Community Cemetery, Pace, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Gideon International.
