In memory of
Lt. Colonel Richard Armstrong Bagby, USMC Ret., died at his Harrisburg home on March 13. He was born May 7, 1943, in New London, CT, to the late Captain Oliver W. Bagby, USN Ret., and Jean Brown Bagby. Richard earned his bachelor of science degree from Oregon State University, master of science from Georgia Tech, and juris doctor from George Mason University. After retirement from a 23-year career in the U.S. Marine Corps, he worked in health care administration. Richard is survived by his wife, Cris; his daughter, Allison Bledsoe, and her husband, R. Daniel, of York, PA; his son, Andrew Bagby, and his wife, Natalie, of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Nolan, Eloise, Tobias, and Wesley Bledsoe and Elle and William Bagby; and his sister, Christine Kuch, and her husband, Edward, of Tequesta, FL. Visitation will be held Monday, March 18, 11:00am-12:00 noon at Greystone Public House, 2120 Colonial Road, Harrisburg, PA. A blessing of Richard's life will begin at noon. Burial will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Central Pennsylvania Cremation Society. Those wishing to share memories and condolences with the family are invited to visit centralpacremation.com .
