Lorraine Tinsman JERICHO, VT Lorraine Tinsman of Jericho, VT, passed away Saturday March 9, 2019, at the age of 83. She had been battling the effects of Alzheimer's disease for several years when she suffered a stroke. Six days later she lost her struggle within the peaceful confines of the Respite House in Colchester, VT, surrounded by her loving family. Lorraine was born Mildred Lorraine Tinsman in 1935 to the late Harley Fulmer and Helen Porter. The second of four children, she is survived by her older sister, Betty Gerber, and younger brother, Paul Fulmer, of Easton, younger sister, Fay, of Williston, VT and their spouses; her eldest son, David, and younger son, Steven, both of Jericho, VT, daughter, Sharon and husband John of Willston, VT and granddaughter Kellie and Max Nerbak of Essex Jct., VT. She is also predeceased by her husband of 44 years Earl William Tinsman, also of Easton. Lorraine made many life-long friends while attending Wilson High School as well as through her jobs at the Sara Mills gift shop, Musselman Jewelers and the Palmer Country Store. Her and oldest son David transitioned to Vermont shortly after the death of her husband in 1999 to reunite with the rest of her family, living out her remaining years in the small town of Jericho, VT. A private service was officiated in Vermont after which she will travel back to her home of Easton to spend eternity alongside her husband, Bill, at Northampton Memorial Shrine.
