Ronald V. Nigro EASTON Ronald V. Nigro, 82, of Easton, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at his home. Born Sept. 3, 1936, in Jersey City, NJ, Ronald was a son of the late Augustine and Eleanor (D'Amore) Nigro. He and his wife, Alberta (Neuhauser) Nigro, celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary on Jan. 14, 2019. Ronald was a graduate of Emerson High School, Union City, NJ, and served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed woodworking. Ronald was of the Catholic faith. Surviving, in addition to his wife, Alberta, are four children, Ronald A. Nigro of Easton, Donna Upright and her husband, Mark, of Nashville, NC, Rhonda Mertz and her husband, Alan, of Wilson Borough, and Eleanor Motsavage and her husband, William, of Germansville, PA; two brothers, August Nigro and his wife, Ruth, of Allentown, and Michael Nigro and his wife, Barbara, of Charlevoix, MI; a sister, Anne Marie Camacho and her husband, Roger, of Forks Township; 10 grandchildren, Samantha and Sophia Nigro, Justin, Holden and Jordan Upright, Joshua and Jason Mertz, Victoria, Veronica and Maxwell Walker; and a great-grandson, Julian Mertz. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough.
