Grace A Grundy Rancho Mirage - Grace Grundy passed away peacefully in Rancho Mirage after a short illness, her husband, Dick, at her side. Grace was born March 14, 1927 in Los Angeles to John and Santa Picone. After High School, she worked in the insurance department of the Auto Club of Southern California Headquarters until 1958. Grace married Richard (Dick) Grundy on August 29th, 1953. They moved to Newport Beach in 1958 and resided in Orange County until 1988. She worked for two insurance agencies before entering the Human Resources field at Hughes Semiconductors and later was employed as a Customer Services Representative for both Uniroyal and Thorn United. Grace became a full time housewife in 1976 and accompanied Dick on many business trips. She survived brothers John and Sam and sisters Jo, Sarah and Nancy. She is survived by the Bell Family, Karen, Ben Benefield, Randy, Lisa and Katie, Beverly and Lori Crane, and the Murphy's in Idaho. Dick's family includes Don, Judy, Scott and Nicole Chapman, Geoffrey and Katie, and Don and Judy, Chapman and their three daughters, Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Hanson House at Desert residential Medical Center, 380 E Paseo El Mirador, Palm Springs, CA 92762.
