Charlotte 'Cheri' Ann Saunders SCHWENKSVILLE Charlotte "Cheri" Ann Saunders, 81, of Schwenksville, PA, and formerly of Huachuaca City, AZ, passed away March 1, 2019. She was the widow of Captain James R. Saunders. Born in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Charles K. and Charlotte G. (Haight) Aldrich. Cheri was a graduate of Belvidere High School in Belvidere, NJ. She was a miner, silversmith, stone cutter, and jewelry maker in the Blue Opal Gallery in Arizona. Surviving are a niece, Christi A. VanHorn of Green Lane, and nephews, William Ahlert of Kempton, and Michael Ahlert of Shimersville. She was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Grace Ahlert. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
