Dolores C. Walker, 88, of Cabot, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019, peacefully, at Butler Memorial Hospital. Dolores was born in Freeport on Aug. 14, 1930, a daughter of the late Mary (Capillary) and Floyd Tantlinger Sr. She was the widow of Leonard Walker, who passed in 2012. Dolores was a former member of Holy Martyrs in Tarentum and currently a member at St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed traveling, playing cards and spending time with her family. Dolores is survived by her children, James and Irene Walker, of Sweetwater, Tenn.; David and Barbara Walker, of Buffalo Township; Marilyn and James Huey, of Tarentum; Donna and Pat Pirollo, of O'Hara Township; Edward and Ann Walker, of Erie; Charles Walker, husband of Cheri Lober, of Cleveland, Ohio; and Jeanne and Dino DiGiacobbe, of Freeport. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Chris and Chrissie Huey, Cara and Blair Henry, Elizabeth Huey, Aaron Huey, Leslie Walker, Adam Walker, Andrew Walker, Anthony Pirollo, and Dominic, Tony, Mia and Nico DiGiacobbe; and two great-grandchildren, Cailyn and Colt Huey. In addition to her parents and husband, Dolores was preceded by her brothers, Floyd Jr., Robert and Donald Tantlinger. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at REDMOND FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 High St. in Freeport. A parting prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary, Mother of God Church in Freeport with Father Ronald Maquinana officiating. A private burial service will be held in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. The family would like to thank Dot's extended Concordia family for their love, support and friendship.
