Lillian Bisci
Lillian Bisci, 91 Much loved mother, Nana, and "Big Nana" Lillian Bisci passed away on Feb. 11, 2019, at the age of 91. She was born on Nov. 4, 1927, in Manhattan, was raised on Staten Island, and graduated from New Dorp High School. She worked at Chase Manhattan Bank in St George and retired as an assistant branch manager. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Josephine DiGiovanni, her sister, Mary, brother, Joe, and by her former husband, Rudolph Bisci. They were married 17 years, divorced, and found friendship together in their later years. She is survived by her daughters, Diane Link and her husband, Andrew, and Denise Kosanke, and her husband, J. She was Nana to seven grandchildren and a loving and playful "Big Nana" to 11 great-grandchildren, who will miss her dearly. Many others adopted her as their own unofficial "Nana", too. Lillian loved her house in Dongan Hills and took great pride in being a homeowner. She treasured the friendships made at the Arrochar Friendship Club. She loved playing mah-jong, participating in the Senior Olympics, playing cards and trips to Atlantic City. There will be a wake at Hanley Funeral Home, New Dorp, on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and a Funeral Mass on Thursday at 10 a.m., St Ann's R.C. Church, Dongan Hills.
