ROBERTS, Mable Carter Mable passed away January 29, 2019. She was born December 12, 1946 in Abilene, Texas. From there, the daughter of Raymond and Ruby Bolden moved with her family to Corsicana, Texas. Mable graduated from GW Jackson High School in 1965. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service after a 30 year career. Mable was preceded in death by her siblings: Helen Griffen, William Spencer and Raymond Bolden Jr. She is survived by her children, Jeff Carter of Chicago; Lenn Carter of Austin; grandchildren, Alexus Carter of Chicago; Mallory Carter of Austin; sisters, Glennis Cook of Dallas, Vivian Deans of Dallas, Rita Smith of Dallas, Terry Davis of Dallas; Brothers, Lennis Bolden of Irving, Delbert Bolden of Dallas, Melvin Spencer of Dallas, Al Gene Spencer of Dallas and a host of nephews, nieces and great friends. Memorial Service will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019 at St. Mark AME Zion Church, 2311 E Illinois Ave Dallas, Texas 75216 with Pastor Samuel Love officiating.
