Meyer, Robert W. Grand Haven, Michigan Robert W. Meyer, age 64, passed away on February 9, 2019 at home in Grand Haven, MI. Born on April 20, 1954 to Raymond and Loretta (Johnston) Meyer in Grand Rapids, MI. He was a talented engineer and has worked in supply chain management at Steelcase for the last 20 years. Bob was dedicated to his family, enjoyed working with his hands, and was always happy to have a project or to be improving the home. He had a fondness for motorcycles, the outdoors and spending time with those dearest to him. On October 1, 1977, he married his loving wife Susan Pearson, who survives him along with their daughters, Katherine (Nathan) Mahan and Meredith (John) Slover; 4 grandchildren, Frances, Carl, June, soon to be born Charles Robert, and several nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judi Jackson. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will take place for Bob 2:00 PM Saturday, February 16, 2019 at The VanZantwick Chapel (620 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417).
