PORTLAND - Neal Sanborn Davis Jr., 87, of Portland, Maine, passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 4, 2019.Neal was born in Chicago, Ill., son of Eva and Neal S. Davis Sr. Neal spent 12 years at the first National Warehouse. Neal also worked for almost 30 years and retired from Nichols in Portland. Neal was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jane Davis; sons, Neal S. Davis III and wife, Faylene, of Bridgton, Jonathan E. Davis Sr. and wife, Michelle, of Gray; daughter, Jennifer E. Boucher and husband, Aaron, of Tennessee; grandsons, Nicholas St. John, Jonathan Davis Jr., Nathaniel Davis, and Mason Boucher; granddaughters, Samantha St. John, Nicole Davis, and Susan Mendoza; and great-granddaughter, Candance Hadley.Neal enjoyed the outdoors and spent a lot of time hunting, fishing, and boating.The family would like to thank his caregivers at Brentwood and Hospice.A graveside service will take place at a later date.Arrangements entrusted to Hobbs Funeral Home, South Portland.
