Agnes Ackley (VanBranteghem) Pittsford - On February 8, 2019 at age 86. Agnes was predeceased by her daughter, Janet Ackley; son, John Edward Ackley; son-in-law, Robert Gallinger. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Edward Ackley; daughters, Patricia (John) Muir & Catherine Gallinger; grandchildren, James (Paula Miceli) & Nathan Muir, Jody & Brian Gallinger; 3 great-grandchildren; nieces & nephews. Agnes was a graduate of the University of Rochester, member of Phi Beta Kappa, long-time volunteer with the American Red Cross and with her husband, endowed a chair for entrepreneurship for the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester. Family and friends are invited to call, THURSDAY, 4-6 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd S). Agnes's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated FRIDAY, 11 AM at St. Louis Church (64 So. Main St, Pittsford). Interment, White Haven Memorial Park.
