BO LENNART (LENNY) GOTRICH
age 73, went home to his Lord and Savior on February 5, 2019. Born in Sweden in June, 1945, he came to the United States with his family in 1960. He was a long-term resident of Solon, Ohio and was self-employed as a piano technician and a member of the Piano Technicians Guild. He was also a long-time member of VASA, a Swedish organization. He was raised in The Salvation Army, where he enjoyed playing the cornet in The Salvation Army Band. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Marianne Flint Gotrich, two stepchildren, Elisabeth (Brendan) and Matthew (Kristen), along with grandchildren Isabel, Tomas, Lucia, Connor and Evelyn. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ingrid. He leaves behind a multitude of friends who loved him dearly. A memorial service will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church on Saturday, February 16 at 1:00, at 27250 Emery Road, Orange Village, Ohio 44128. Lenny loved animals, especially his dogs. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Geauga Humane Society's Rescue Village animal shelter, 15463 Chillicothe Rd., Novelty, Ohio 44072, www.rescuevillage.org , in his name.
