Peggy V. Phillips
It is enough: earth's struggles soon shall cease and Jesus calls us to heavens perfect peace. Peggy V. Phillips completed her earthly journey on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at her home. Peggy was born on October 13, 1931 in Harrisburg and was a daughter to the late Ethel C. McGonnel and Joseph A. Vogler. Peggy was a school teacher for the Harrisburg School District for 38 years. She was a member of the Estrellita Chapter # 312 Order of the Eastern Star for 45 years, Lifelong member of the former Redeemer Lutheran Church of Harrisburg, Danny Thomas St. Jude Society, Pennsylvania Retired Teachers Association, Humane Society of Harrisburg Area and Young Americans Foundation. She was the widow of Charles E. Phillips. Surviving are nine Nieces and Nephews including, Sandra K. Wright, William R. Sweikert III both of Enola, Lifelong friends Joyce Witherow, Jody Cole and many other special friends. A special thank you to Asana Hospice and care givers Crystal, Saundra and her neighbor Annette. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Musselman Funeral Home. a viewing will be held from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
