Kathleen "Kat" Harley
Kathleen 'Kat' Harley, 50 Beloved aunt, avid cook and baker, mentor to many Kathleen "Kat" Harley, 50, passed away on Feb. 7, 2019, surrounded by family. She was best known for her readiness to help anyone in need. Kathleen loved dogs and sports but her passion was caring for others, particularly helping with her nephew, Thomas, and nieces, Bridget, Deirdre and Abigail. Her involvement extended to the children of cousins and friends, who affectionately called her Aunt Kat. Kathleen was an avid cook and baker and was often called upon to make that special dish or dessert. She mentored many trainees in her long retail career and truly relished in their success. Kathleen was the daughter of Mary and the late Thomas Harley and sibling of Thomas Harley, Mary O'Hara (Shawn) and Michael Harley (Kelly). She will be waked at Hanley Funeral Home today, Friday, Feb. 8, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Margaret Mary's Church on Saturday, Feb. 9, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Kat's family asks that you consider contributing to the Mt.
