James Cameron HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, NJ James Cameron, 72, of Holland Township, NJ, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, in St. Luke's Hospital, Warren. Born Aug. 25, 1946, in Somerville, NJ, he was a son of the late Morrison Marshall and Edith (Hann) Cameron. He was an iron worker with Local 399 in Newark, NJ, then worked as an independent truck driver, hauling logs for 35 years before his retirement. He loved NASCAR races, especially Jeff Gordon, and had a love for all animals. As a final gift, he was an organ donor to help others. James was a member of the Organization of Freemasonry. James is survived by his loving companion, Leslie Savercool, and her daughter, Rebecca Savercool; a son, Anthony Sabia of Denver, CO; daughters, Debbie Sabia of Souderton, PA, Kimberly Bonopane and husband, Gene of Mt. Bethel, PA, and Dee Cameron of Parsippany, NJ; a brother, Rod Cameron of Saylorsburg, PA; a sister, Grace Meehan of Columbia, NJ; six grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by a son, Robert Sabia. Per his final wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by Doyle-Devlin Funeral Home, Inc. in Phillipsburg.
