Anita Acquisto Bell passed away peacefully Friday, February 1, 2019 in Dallas, TX. She was 63 years old. Anita was born at St. Vincent's in Birmingham to Sam and Barbara (Powers) Acquisto on July 16, 1955. The eldest of 4 girls, she attended John Carroll Catholic School and later attended Jacksonville St. before going to work at Luckie Advertising. She relocated to Dallas in 1978 and began her career in 1990 at the City of Plano where she retired in 2018 after 27 years of service. Anita married her best friend, Jack, in the fall of 2006 in Texas and they built their dream house on Cedar Creek Lake and enjoyed every minute of it. She loved to read, spoil her kids, and being the best Nona to her grandkids. Her mother, Barbara, precedes her in death. Survivors include her husband, Jack, her father Sam; daughters Alyson, Amy, Angela, and son Justin Bell; her beloved grandchildren Laney, Audrey, Christian, Cameron, Caleigh, Landon, Sydney, Avery, and Preston; sisters, Kathy, Judy, and Tommie. Her celebration is being held Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 11-1pm at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas, Texas.
