Sherman Glen Buck
Sherman Glen Buck passed away peacefully at home in Lindale, TX, on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. He was born on April 18, 1944 in Nevada City, CA. He was raised in Kalispell, MT by his parents Eva Wallace Buck and Glen S. Buck who preceded him in death. He leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Sandra Chapman Buck, son Glen Buck and Daughter-in-Law Brenda Buck of McKinney, TX; son Aaron Buck and Daughter-in-Law Amy Buck of Lindale, TX; and Grandchildren Landon, Riley and Ethan Buck and Jordan, Brandon and Connor Long. Sherman graduated from Big Fork High School in Montana. He also attended Heavy Equipment School in Weiser, ID and Bailey Technical School in St. Louis, MO. He worked for Austin Commercial for over 20 years and continued his love for operating equipment by taking care of his land and volunteering his time for others any chance he got. He loved his country and served 2 years in the U.S. Army of which one year was served in Vietnam. He attended Lindale United Methodist Church. His favorite saying was "What a Beautiful Day!" He greatly loved his family, all animals and never met a stranger. He will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, January 18, 2019 at First United Methodist Church, 402 W. Hubbard St., Lindale, TX 75771.
