BURLINGTON - Mrs. Kay Frances Yellock Parker, 78, of 2559 Willie Pace Road, was called Home on January 11, 2019 at 8:30am at her residence. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Rufus Yellock and Vandilla Cohn Yellock, both deceased and the wife of Caldwell Lee Parker, also deceased. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Parker was predeceased by a son, Joe Lewis Parker; four sisters, Georgia Lea Cousin, Virginia Mark, Dorothy Bradshaw and Deloris Yellock; two brothers, Rufus Lee Yellock and John Henry Yellock. Mrs. Parker's survivors include her son, Donald "Duck" Parker of the home; daughter, Deborah Parker Moore of Burlington; two sisters, Mary Baynes and Joanne Logan, both of Burlington; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Parker's funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 2:00pm at Sweet Gum Grove Baptist Church with Pastor David Reaves officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery next to her husband. The family will receive friends one hour prior to her funeral service at the church, and all other times, at the home.
