BARBARA CROCKETT Barbara J. Crockett, 73, of Las Vegas, passed away January 2, 2019, in a local Las Vegas hospital. Barbara's parents are Lorenzo Crockett and Margaret Taylor Crockett. She is survived by her friend, Ned Towns; sister, Tanya Lewis and Felisha Crockett; brothers, Wes and Lorenzo Crockett; sister-in-law, Shirley Crockett; nephews, Ricardo "Ricky," Kasey, Dejuan, Deon, Deshown and Jimmy; great-newphews, Aarion, Ashton, Lorenzo, Dicarloe, Chavaughn, Cody, Nicholas, Kamron and Clarence; nieces, Shaniko, Nichole, Kyli, Stacey and Delesha; great-nieces, Ceonie, Karlie, Anahi and Kylanni, Tiffany and Tasha; great-great nieces, Khaliyah and Tyra; great-great nephew, Major D and Phil; godson, Fred; and a host of relatives, nephews, nieces, her Beloved sister, Cheryl and many friends. Barbara was known for her many restaurants she owned, catering she did for hotel employees, private parties, construction sites here in Las Vegas and California and her black directory she made for locals. Barbara was well known for her tamales which she sold all over Las Vegas. She donated to many churches in Las Vegas, making sure there was always candy, supplies and fans. She enjoyed helping the churches and volunteering at UMC. Barbara helped with elections, raising money for KECP and she fought for the Moulin Rouge and F Street. She also enjoyed helping her friend, Katherine Duncan of "The Harrison House," on F Street. She was a lover of the Lord and enjoyed people. She will truly be missed by many. John 11:25-26
