Funeral services for Debra Widemon-Jones of Tyler are scheduled for Saturday, January 12, 2019 2:00 PM at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Derrick Lott eulogist. Interment will be held at County Line Cemetery under the direction of Brooks Sterling & Garrett Funeral Directors. Debra Widemon was born December 26, 1953 in Tyler, Texas to the parentage of Raymond "RC" and Gladys Taylor. She was a 1972 graduate of John Tyler High School. She was employed by GE Company (Trane) and later worked for Montgomery Ward until her health failed. Debra was a faithful member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She served as church secretary, choir member, usher board and Women's Ministry. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy Jones and one brother. Those left to cherish her memories are two sons, Craig Widemon and Roderick Widemon. Three sisters: Jo Hazel Taylor, Vicki Taylor-Cross and Judy Taylor-Curtis. One brother, Dewayne Haynes. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Public viewing Friday 2:00PM-8:00 PM.
