Mar. 25, 1942 - Jan. 8, 2019 EDMOND, OK G. Max Green was born on March 25, 1942, in Durant, Oklahoma, to parents George and Mary Elizabeth Green. Max passed in his home on January 8, 2019 surrounded by loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Ora and Leslie Coleman and Myrtle and Andy Green. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Pamela Green of Edmond, Oklahoma; son and daughter-in-law Jonathan and Mallory Green, and grandchildren Elise, Max, and expected baby boy Green, all of Redondo Beach, California; sisters Alice Ernest of Granbury, Texas, and Marilyn Karn of Edwards, Colorado; and nieces Marla Citty and Brenda Slay and nephew Seth Karn. An accomplished musician, his life's work was in real estate. He worked tirelessly with his partners to build Goodyear Green Real Estate, which later became Century 21 Goodyear Green, and was a respected pillar in the local real estate community. Max was strong in his faith in Christ, and his generosity and willingness to mentor others had a positive impact on so many. Visitation will be held from noon-8pm on Friday, January 11, at Crawford Funeral Service, 610 NW 178th Street in Edmond. A memorial celebration of Max's life will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 12, at the First Presbyterian Church of Edmond with the family to receive guest at a reception following the service.
