Marlene Carl Self
Marlene Carl Self has left her earthly home to be reunited with family and friends who have gone to a peaceful place. She died January 8, 2019, leaving her loved ones to celebrate her life. Marlene was born in Wisconsin, and moved to Panama City in 1961. She was a Bay County school bus driver over 25 years. Marlene had a love for children, enjoyed yard work, and was an avid walker for years. She enjoyed books and photography. Mostly, she enjoyed her family with back-yard cook-outs and camp-outs with friends. there were lots of those. Survivors include her children, Daniel E. Eudaley, Daughter, Michelle A. Self Heck (Lenny) of Panama City, Robert Self, Jr., (Joreen) of Palmdale, CA, and Albert Self (Lori) of Riverside, RI; her grandchildren, Robert Self, III (Ashley), Pua Self Schmidt (Dan), Amelia Self Roberts (Andrew), A. J. Self, Ashley Self, Garrett Self, Brandon Self, Austin J. Lance, Taylor E. Lange, Blakeley C. Eudaley and Jason E. Eudaley (Sarah); her great-grandchildren, Carolina Lily Self, Atlas Lane, Apollo Lange and Natalia Eudaley; her sister, Ruth Theill (husband Wesley deceased) of East Dubuque, IL; a step-sister, Judy Windholtz (Jim) and daughter, Sarah of Warranton, MO; her sister-in-law, Merla Carl (Glen deceased) of Galena, IL; also surviving are dear friends, Donna Bowie (Wi), Martha H. Carter, Pat Fenges, Jenny Cote, and many school bus drivers, nephews, and nieces. Memorilization will be by cremation. A family gathering will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be mede to the American Heart Association, the Ronald McDonald House, or to the Bay County Humane Society.
