Rosalee (Woerner) Brown Evansville,IN Rosalee (Woerner) Brown, 97, of Evansville, IN passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Henderson Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born June 4, 1921 in Evansville to the late Charles Christopher Woerner and Oma Susan Porter. Rosalee was a 1939 graduate of Central High School. She retired in 1984 from the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation. Rosealee was an 80 year member of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church and a longtime member of the VFW 1114 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Rosalee is survived by her grandson, Robert (Megan) Brown; granddaughter, Jessica Brown; great grandchildren, Ethan Brown, Karen, Katie and Nick. Rosalee was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Brown; sons, William and Charles Brown; sister, Thelma Brescher; brother, Ernest Porter. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm -8:00 pm Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 First Ave. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 am Friday, January 11, 2019 at the funeral home with Rev. Kevin Fleming officiating. Entombment will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
