Louise E. (Kinsinger) Bowers
Louise E. (Kinsinger) Bowers, 73, of Dillsburg, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence (Hospice of Central PA), Harrisburg. She was born January 26, 1945 in Erie, PA the daughter of the late Arthur H. & Margaret J. Ritter Kinsinger. Louise was a retired Speech and Language Pathologist with the Cumberland Valley School District. She was a certified member of the Speech and Language Association, a member of the South Mountain VFW Post #6771, Dillsburg and the Dillsburg American Legion Post 26. In addition, she was a graduate of the Ursuline Academy and Vanderbilt University. She served 18 years as a nun in Louisville, KY. Louise was the widow of the late George W. Bowers, and is survived by her brothers and sisters: Frank L. Kinsinger, of Florida; Joseph J. Kinsinger, Kathryn A. Gaddie, Marilyn J. Koehler, all of Kentucky; a brother-in law Charles Bowers of Dillsburg, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019, at 10:00 am in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 310 Hertzler Road, Mechanicsburg, PA. It will be followed by a Celebration of Life at the Dillsburg American Legion Post #26, Route 15 Dillsburg.
