Charles W. Hamilton
Charles W. Hamilton, 82, of Dillsburg, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at his home. Charles was born August 11, 1936, in Baltimore, MD the son of the late John and Stella Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Alexandra Hamilton. Charles is survived by his sons; Charles A. and Jonathan S. Hamilton; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Chadwick, Brian, Wyatt, Kyle and Jonalynn. Charles was a U.S. Navy veteran and served his country from 1955 to 1963. He was retired from Morefield Communications as a telecommunications service technician. In his retired years he enjoyed going to auctions, flea markets and stamp shows where he made numerous friends. Services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019, at 2:00 pm in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. A viewing will be held Saturday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mechanicsburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
