Hazel (Baker) Patterson
Hazel (Baker) Patterson CANANDAIGUA - Hazel (Baker) Patterson, age 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019. She is survived by two children, Kimberlee (Sheila) Patterson-Brown and Kevin (Colleen) Patterson; four grandchildren, Anna and Joshua Appel and Kelly and Jeffrey Patterson; and three great-grandchildren, Jaeden, Killian and Kendall. She was predeceased by her husband, William "Rodger" Patterson in 2012. Hazel was born in Clifton Springs, raised in Shortsville and was a graduate of Shortsville High School, class of 1949. She received her registered nurse certification from Ancker Hospital in St. Paul, Minn. Hazel worked as a registered nurse at F.F. Thompson Hospital, Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic and Clark Manor House. She also worked at Canandaigua National Bank for several years. Hazel was a member of the United Church of Canandaigua. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12, at 11 a.m. at United Church, 11 Gibson St., Canandaigua. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 435 E.
