Anita Ferrari, 94 Great-grandmother of nine Anita Ferrari, 94, passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 3, 2019, surrounded by her two sons, Albert and Robert. Anita was born in Manhattan on Nov. 4, 1924, to Emilio and Marcella Ferrari. She was brought to Staten Island at the age of nine and was a lifelong resident of Grant City. She attended St. Christopher's, and McKee High School. Anita married Albert Paul Ferrari of Dongan Hills, who passed away in 1986. Her most precious time was spent with her family. Anita is survived by Albert (Cheryl), Robert (Ginny); grandchildren, Danielle, Christina, Alicia, Brianna, Albert; great-grand children, Gianna, Kayla, Chanelle, Justin,Gabriella, Albert, Allison, and Isabella; and nephew, Steven Waldner. She was predeceased by her sister, Louise Waldner, in 2016. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated. Visitation is at Hanley Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass is 10 a.m. Monday at St. Christopher's, with burial in Resurrection Cemetery.
