Mae Carnevale
Mae Carnevale, 93 Devoted to her children and grandchildren Mae Carnevale, 93, born in Staten Island and a resident of Staten Island for nearly all of her life, died on Jan. 1, 2019, in Long Island, N.Y. She graduated from St. John Villa Academy in 1945 and was employed by JP Morgan shortly thereafter until her marriage to Gerard S. Carnevale in 1954. They were married for 51 years until his passing in 2005. Mae loved to listen to old music from the forties and fifties specifically songs from Frank Sinatra and Perry Como and to recite the rosary daily. She was a loving mother and devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. Her loving and caring personality was obvious to anyone she spent time with. Mae is survived by her three children and her six grandchildren: Anthony, Justine, Laura Mae, Dominique, Gerard, and Nina. Services will be held at Casey Funeral Home on Jan. 4, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Church, 265 Watchogue Road, S.I., on Jan. 5, 2019, at 9:30 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Moravian Cemetery Casey Funeral Home 350 Slosson Ave. Staten Island, N.Y. 10314 (718) 447-4242
