BONNIE LEE DAVIS BARRIS Bonnie Lee Davis Barris, 84, passed away December 15, 2018. She was born in Clovis, N.M. in 1934 and was baptized Christian as a child in New Mexico. Bonnie graduated from Ranchvale High School in 1951 where she played basketball. She continued playing even after high school with her two children cheering from the sidelines. Bonnie retired after 20 years as a PBX Telephone Supervisor and continued on as great Rodeo mom until her kids graduated high school. Bonnie was a 42 year resident of the Pahrump Valley and an avid bowler for 25+ years on Monday Night Guttergirls and Friday Night Pares and Spares Leagues. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Ruby Davis and son, Duane Barris. She is survived by her husband, Herbert; daughters, Diana Stevens (John) and Anna Fanning (Mark); daughter-in-law, Rocio Barris (Duane); seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and brother, Jim Davis. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Services for family will be held at the Grandview Cemetary in Pahrump. A celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 12:00 at the Artesia Clubhouse, 6601 S. Fox Ave., Pahrump.
