A memorial service, celebrating the life of Hans Werner Brandl, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19th, 2019 at Rabenhorst East (11000 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge 70815). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Joseph's Hospice/ Carpenter House (10615 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70809). Hans passed away on December 11th, 2018 after a brief illness. Originally from Munich, Germany, Hans was a naturalized US citizen and was the retired manager of the City Club of Baton Rouge. He is preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Gardy Kemper Brandl, and is survived by his daughter, Monica B. Atkinson, and her husband Michael P. Atkinson.
