In memory of
William Warren (Bill) Boyle
William Warren (Bill) Boyle was born on June 18, 1942, to the parents of Warren and Blanche Boyle. He is survived by his two brothers and sister. John Francis Boyle, Donald Joseph Boyle, and Teresa Dillon Lundgren. Bill's lifelong dream was to be a Jesuit Priest but due to circumstances was not realized and became a lay brother of the Missionaries of Charity! Bill attended Durango High, Regis College for a short time before entering the Jesuit Seminary and finally attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington where he received a Masters Degree In Theology. Bill later worked as a volunteer for the Missionaries of Charity, (Mother Teresa's Order) in Gallup, NM. Bill was their "jack of all trades," doing carpentry, repairing, chauffeuring, picking up food, cleaning, cooking for the Navajos and was an asset to their order! Bill loved the Sisters and the men that he took care of. Bill had quit the sense of humor and had the Navajos laughing with his jokes! We celebrate Bill's life and his gift of giving to the poorest of the poor! His funeral is in Gallup, NM at 11:00 AM. Rosary at 10:30 on December 11, 2018. The burial will be in Durango Colo. at Greenmount Cemetery on December 12, 2018, at 12:00. Bill had a kind and tender heart and would help anyone in need and give " the shirt off his back!" It is sad to lose our brother who was a wonderful example of Christ's love serving others! Bill entered eternal life on December 6, 2018, on St. Nicholas' Feast Day, the same day his mother, Blanche Boyle died five years earlier. If you would like to donate in memory of Bill, donate to the Missionaries of Charity in Gallup, New Mexico. And also please pray for Bill!
