In memory of
Frank Vincent 'Macaroni' Macedonio Retired N.J. Transit conductor; grandfather of three Frank Vincent "Macaroni" Macedonio, was born on Nov. 6, 1936, in Scranton, Pa., to the late Dominick and Rosa Macedonio. He passed away at age 82 on Dec. 5, 2018, in Byram, N.J., after a short battle with cancer. He graduated from West Scranton High School in 1954. Frank served in the Army. He proudly worked in the railroad industry as a conductor at N.J. Transit until he retired in 2001. He thought of his fellow trainsmen as his extended family and greatly enjoyed spending time with them at their monthly retiree luncheon. Frank was married to Cathryn Macedonio for 50 years. He is survived by his sons, Dominick Macedonio and his wife, Jessica, of Allamuchy, Pa., son, Joseph Macedonio of Byram; daughter, Frances Ridge and husband, Bryan, of Liberty, Pa.; brother, Michael Macedonio and wife, Carol, of Scranton, and grandchildren, Madeline and Thomas Ridge, and Jennica Macedonio. He was uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a member of United Transportation Union, Local 60, Knights of Columbus, and Byram Seniors. Friends and family can pay their respects at the funeral service on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 11 a.m., at Good Shepherd R.C. Church, 48 Tranquility Rd., Andover, N.J., 07821.
