Colleen Marie Herdrich Venice, FL - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Colleen Marie Herdrich on Sunday December 2nd at the age of 63. She was a loving Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt. Colleen was a native of Indianapolis but had lived the past 15 years with her husband of 40 years in Venice, Florida. Born September 23rd, 1955 in Indianapolis to the late Robert Bussell and Jacquelyn Carr Bussell Lanford. She attended Immaculate Heart of Mary School, Bishop Chatard High School, and graduated from Butler University. While at Butler she was an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and a spirited participant in many extracurricular activities. Colleen graduated from Butler with a degree in Radio & Television and went on to work in Indianapolis at Q-95. She later obtained her Air Traffic Controller Certification and worked at Indianapolis International Airport in that position until moving on to train and teach other controllers.
