Edward F. Conners Jr.
Edward F. Conners, Jr. Montrose - Edward F. Conners, Jr. of Wappingers Falls, formerly of Montrose, NY went home to his Savior on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the age of 71. Ed was born to Edward and Grace (Kingsley) Conners on September 3, 1947. He was a proud United States Army Vietnam War Veteran and a 50 year member of the Cortlandt Engine Company in Montrose. Ed worked for the New York Telephone Company for 25 years. After retiring, he spent every sunny day caddying at Sleepy Hollow Country Club. He was a faithful member of Community Bible Church in Ossining, NY until his recent move to Dutchess County. Ed is survived by his wife of 48 years, Eunice (Clarry) Conners, his cherished children Edward Michael, and Jennifer Lynn and her husband David Diehl, Jr., his adored grandchildren David, Michael, Reese, and Derek, and his sisters-in-law Marsha Valente and Nona Clarry. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 4-8pm at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11am on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at The Reformed Church of Cortlandtown, 2124 Albany Post Rd., Montrose, NY with burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery also in Montrose.
