Claudette Kemmerer PALMER TOWNSHIP Claudette Kemmerer, 71, of Palmer Township, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, surround by family and friends. She was the wife of Clarence N. Kemmerer. Together they celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on April 9th. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, on Feb. 1, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Frances (Purder) Martin, and stepdaughter of the late Margaret (Ogden) Martin. Claudette was a graduate of Warren Hill High School, class of 1965. She worked in the emergency registration department of Easton Hospital for 16 years prior to her illness. Claudette loved animals, especially her dogs and birds, and she also enjoyed gardening. Most important to her was time spent with her family and grandchildren, who she absolutely cherished. In addition to her loving husband, Clarence, she is survived by her daughters, Vicki Hulbert and her husband, Keith, of Wilson Borough, and Carin Kemmerer, of Palmer Township; grandchildren, Carli Wilson and her husband, Drew, and Ayden Toma; sisters, Carlyn Brands of Upper Nazareth Township, and Colleen Martin of Nazareth; sister-in-law, Marlene Buskirk of Bangor; brother-in-law, Roy "Butch" Kemmerer, of Easton; along with many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service in celebration of Claudette's life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Village of Moorestown - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Saturday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered in memory of Claudette to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Suite 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
