Hall Bengfort Mazzola CAROL ANN HALL BENGFORT MAZZOLA July 18, 1946 November 22, 2018 Carol Ann Hall Bengfort Mazzola, 72, of Colorado Springs, died on Thursday, November 22, 2018. She was born on July 18, 1946 in Beaumont, Texas to Ruby and Paul Hall. Carol graduated from Beaumont's French High School in 1964 and then continued her education at Lamar State College; the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where she was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority; and finally the University of Colorado to receive her Masters Degree in nursing. Carol was a beloved nurse, both in dialysis and hospice; a volunteer with organizations such as the Junior League, the Fine Arts Center, and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Parish Women's Club; and a lover and rescuer of animals. She aimed to bring dignity and sophistication to every aspect of her life, and was a devoted mother and Nana. Survivors include: ex-husband Dr. John L. Bengfort; Anneliese M. Degenhart and her husband, Glen Degenhart and their son, William; and Liliana Y. Boice and her husband, David T. Boice and their daughter, Alessandra and Liliana's sons, Daidyn and Christian Carter and their father, Robert T. Carter. Carol is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Marlon Thomas Hall and James Nathan Hall. The Funeral Mass and memorial service will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Parish in Colorado Springs on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 1:00 in the afternoon with a reception to follow.
